The shipyard Aalborg Vaerft A/S was founded in 1912. The shipyard was located just east of Pier 5 Hotel, and the hotel’s bar has been named VAERFT in honor of the shipyard’s and the old port’s history. VAERFT is much more than a hotel bar. VAERFT is Aalborg’s new local cocktail and dining bar, the place where you can unwind with the colleagues after a long day, the place where you meet before the concert, the place where innovative cocktails and the amazing atmosphere offers new ways to meet.
